Time Off Accruals - Used Time Not Deducting From Employee Balance


If your company only has Payroll in UKG Ready (no Time & Attendance), the time offs must be linked to the earnings code, so when hours are manually entered or imported into payroll, the system knows which time off accrual bucket to deduct from for those hours paid.

To check this, go to Company Settings > Payroll Setup > Earnings Codes


Edit the earning code that should deduct from the time off accrual (example: Vacation) and set the Time Off by using the List Time Offs lookup button to find the matching time off.
