Employee Clocking In/Out & Manually Updating Departments (New UI)


Employees Clocking In/Out

  1. Go to your company’s custom URL: https://yourpayrollhr.com/ta/COMPANYCODE.clock
  2. Enter your Username and Password image3.png
    1. Review the message on the right for instructions on the format of your username and initial password:
      1. Username is {Employee ID#}
        1. There may be exceptions to this rule, contact HR if you have trouble
      2. Upon first login, your password will be you social security number (no dashes; XXXXXXXXX)
    2. Select the image12.png button to record your punch image11.png
      1. If this is your first login or you have had your password rest, you will be prompted to update your password to something more secure containing a number, symbol, upper and lower case characters              image1.png
      2. Enter your social security number as the “Old Password” then create a “New Password” 
    3. Select the image15.png  button to update your password, if it was unsuccessful the system will give you a message listing the reason the change was unsuccessful (ie: Passwords entered do not match). If it is successful, you will be re-routed back to the login page
    4. Once re-routed back to the login page enter your username and the NEW password you just created, then selectimage2.png
  3. You will receive a ‘Punch Successful’ message along the top once the punch has been recorded image14.pngimage10.png
  4. To clock out for lunch or for the day, repeat steps 2 & 3
  5. To review your timesheet to ensure your punches are recorded correctly, enter again your Username and Password then select image8.png
  6. From your dashboard select the My Time and Schedule > My Current Timesheet link to review your current punches image6.png
  7. You will then be routed to your current timesheet, the ‘Time Entry’ tab will contain all punches. Click on any date in blue to expand the entry to view the punches, by default today will be the only open entry
    1. You can also click ‘Expand All’ at the top to open every date in your current timesheet image9.png
    2. The ‘From’ field is your in punch and the ‘To’ field is your out punch image5.png
    3. If your punch was recorded incorrectly, submit a Timesheet Change Request by selecting the image4.png button

Employees Updating Departments by Time Entry

  1. Once logged in, from your dashboard select the My Time and Schedule > My Current Timesheet link image6.png
  2. On the timesheet you can select a different Department to allocate your time entries to, by selecting the dropdown  beneath the Department field
    1. By default, the last used Department(s) will appear in the list or you can select Browse to choose from a list of available Departments image13.png image7.png
